The St Matthew's Community Centre Committee have been working hard finding funding to modernise the hall's facilities and improve the building. St Matthew’s Community Centre, on the corner of Elwick Road and Arncliffe Gardens, is more than just our parish hall. As its name suggests, we see the centre as a resource not only for the church, but also for the surrounding community. It is already used for a variety of different community activities, including our uniformed organizations, parent and toddler groups, chess, badminton and residents’ groups. We are always seeking to expand the range of uses of the centre. If you want to find out what is happening in your area, or you want more information for booking or about events, you will find it on the pages to your right. It has two halls, a meeting room, and a small kitchen. |
