The church is the whole people of God. Stranton has been commissioned by the Bishop of Durham as a ‘Shared Ministry Parish’, which means that there is a special emphasis here on everyone working together for the glory of God, and for the mission of His Church. The leadership of the parish is shared between the clergy and other staff and the Parochial Church Council (PCC).
